Yeah, none. The only piece Calgary has that would interest Columbus enough to move Johnson is Zary, which would be a nonstarter for Calgary I'd think.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>Can I get a review on Grushnikov? I have some ideas but not a full analysis</div></div>
Heard he’s a rugged stay at home defensive bulldog type of a player with a high compete level. That’s all I know myself. Seems more likely to make the NHL than Kyrou anyway
Scouting Report: The Russian defenseman is an excellent skater, a skill he is learning to use better to control gaps. Is more than willing to use his body to break up plays, but also can be disruptive with his stick. His play with the puck is improving; he has emerging vision and poise that should continue to get better as he matures.
Artem Grushnikov: Defence-first, space-closing, defensive defenceman. Little-to-no inclination to hold onto puck or provide individual offence, low-risk facilitator. Not overly physical, but can play “bully” in the defensive end if needed.
Ceiling: Top-4 shutdown D-man
Floor: AHL D-man
Playstyle comparables: Esa Lindell, Danny DeKeyser
Congrats to DAL! They Won the Tanev Sweepstakes and under paid for him 75% retained

Yeah that’s why I think I’m moving KK in a trade for a forward.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>I don't see much reason to lose hope on that. Contenders are the ones who get desperate, and this years draft being "less strong" will make teams more willing to spend 1sts. On top of that the market is pretty dry in terms of quality to add, especially on the blue line. I'm pretty skeptical of Calgary trading Markstrom but I'm confident we will get a strong return for Hanifin as well as probably a 1st for Tanev.
As for Vegas, yes they may lose Martinez this summer but you are asking them to trade another one of their top 6 defensemen out in this deal. I would say its more likely they just let Martinez go so they can keep both Marchessault and Stephenson, then just move Theodore back to his natural side and promote Korczek to a full time NHL role.</div></div>
Eh Theo has always played better on the right side….

Outside the box
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>You always have such a warped view of value and never consider circumstance at all.
In the case of Freddy he was not traded with 5 years of term, he was traded with zero term as an RFA. Also Anaheim had 2 starting goalies at the time, both RFA's. They chose to keep the one was younger and didn't have arbitration rights.
Kuemper was a year away from UFA when he was traded. He helped win the Avs the cup and then walked right after. How in the world do you view Markstrom having term as a negative but that as a positive considering New Jersey probably isn't a cup favorite this year.
Lehner was never a starter in Ottawa, when he was traded to Buffalo he was Ottawa's 3rd best goalie.
Luongo was traded after loosing the starting job to... oh look Cory Schneider the previous year, who was then traded to your New Jersey Devils. in 13/14 when he was moved to Florida he had nearly lost the starting job to 26 year old rookie Eddie Lack. I know how much you love GSAx so here is what it looked like for the Canucks goalies back then
<img class="for_img" src="https://i.imgur.com/sX4ORZW.png" alt="sX4ORZW.png">
Now how exactly does that compare to Markstrom's +32.5 GSAx?
<img class="for_img" src="https://i.imgur.com/wtAwuY5.png" alt="wtAwuY5.png"></div></div>
Thomas Vokurn is probably the best comp…if you want picks only comp. Veteran workhorse goalie, term on deal, young kid coming up, buying team a little desperate…2007 so far enough back where pick value, cap differences skew the comparison.
But Conroy wants a skater back…and goalie-to-skater conversion is a challenge.
Maybe the better question..when was the last time a 22-year old, former top-10 pick, offensive weapon like Holtz was traded for a goalie?

It’s a fair point where he’d go to Calgary in the trade. I like the Arizona guys and thought they needed some salary on their cap so that’s why I sent him there</div></div>
I see. But anyways if I am Calgary I try to aim for a package of Miller + 1st. I like Miller so I feel trading him right now would be a mistake. More of an offseason move

Agreed. But at the same time I feel like Rangers can get more. I mean if Romanov and Nilks get firsts. And Chariot and Savard got firsts. so could the rangers should be able to get a first I feel
still if i am Calgary Miller is def someone I ask for

the problem is that you're having the wrong discussion, which is why you think this.
this happens all over this site. this isn't a conversation about fair value for andersson. it's a conversation about what it would take to get calgary to want to trade him. those are two entirely different concepts.

I wouldn't call Wallinder and Berggren "top prospects". Good prospects yes. They would likely want a higher quality piece, even if it means less pieces going their way.
I honestly feel, as great if an add as he would be, that we aren't in a position to be making that kind of move yet.
They also need centre and RHD prospects, as every team does. We don't get him without one of Kasper, Danielson, Edvinsson or ASP going the other way.

Another Hanifin Variation
I don't know why Calgary is adding Morin. The first next year, that you value more than this year but is in fact just an extra year from making an impact on the Flames. The value of the picks is about the same wether it's this year or next, both are going to be late, just have to wait longer for next year's.
Lohrei and a first is decent value, adding in the other prospect basically makes up for the first being next year.

Interesting. Very different vibe on this side.
Devils have outdoor game Saturday that is taking up a lot of the attention here. Otherwise, after a number of GMs have done media appearances talking about their goalies, I feel as if speculation has moved on to Nashville, Anaheim, etc.

Well if we break the OP's trade down
Hanifin retained for Bahl + Clarke + 1st + 2nd
Then that leaves Markstrom for VV + Foote + 3rd + 5th.
That's a bad return for Markstrom</div></div>

Markstrom’s value increased in the 1st period alone against the rangers tonight. 3 or 4 robbery saves lol

These guys seriously want a top-10 goalie with term and a top-32 27 year old D man, both retained, for a mid-to-late 1st, a bottom pairing Dman and a bunch of peanuts.
What a joke.
