imo it would take at least a first for the isles to move mayfield, but they can take on a cap dump in the return, maybe ritchie or holl, since that's how the d market is panning out with the savard deal and seemingly with chiarot. just don't see it happening for less since he has another year and they don't have a prospect to take his place.

I just dont see any way the isles part with mayfield at all, let alone for the garbage packages i see alot of leaf fans propose. They have absolutely no depth on the right side and hes a good top 4 DFD making 1.45M

if he gets moved itll have to be an overpay so I dont think its really crazy to be expecting a 1st+ considering the market and the isles lack of organizational depth when it comes to RHD

Amriov, Niemela, and a 1st is already an overpaid for Miller even at half retained. And I really hope you're not saying that Schenn is worth more than Dermott, Ritchie and a 3rd cause Schenn isn't worth more than a 5th round pick at this point in his career

Well I don't think Johnsson is worth more then a 3rd,
a late 2nd at best imo but for arguments sake let's say he's worth a 1st, Severson is worth more then Dermott and a 2nd.
Also Dermott is only 2 years younger then Severson so I doubt he'd interest them much if they want to get younger.

That's a tempting pick up for OTTAWA, it just comes down to if they actually have a spot for him. I get the sense they really liked Hawryluk's game. He's nowhere near as fast but he picked up 7 points in 11 games and HITS like a truck. Engvall has more talent but really avoids the contact - not ideal in a bottom 6 role.

rip's toronto cup chances the day they signed tavares to 11m a yr . i like tavares dont get me wrong. cap hit does not match the talent level. defensive liability .
TT if he can get over his injuries and reach his potential. risto cleaned up his game last yr playing along side a 1 D he could match well on the right with either reilly or muzz if those happen toronto wins the trade. still nylander is a beast.

If Dubinsky stays on LTIR this is a + cap change basically on both sides. It also means Tor can move Freddy and have a starter in place.

I don't love Korpisalo as a starter for Tor and I still hate moving Nylander but this is just using AJP's trade parameters. Personally I think this is exactly okay and not great.
