I'd sooner bet on Bemstrom at #4RW than Foudy, myself. Otherwise looks fine.

Hawks weren't even trying to win the trade, they just said f*ck off take him.
I'm convinced the Hawks are purposely trying to lose every single major trade they make.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>oilersguy</b></div><div>why are people voting for the habs? it cost Vegas a 2nd to dump Dadonov in march but now it isn't costing them anything</div></div>
A: people on this website aren’t a huge fan of Vegas
B: Habs fans who probably just voted for their team
C: Dadanov will have some actual value come TDL assuming he doesn’t slip, Montreal could get something back in return

Great potential. will play one more AHL season this year unless Elvis/Korpi get hurt. Will hopefully be a great backup starting in 2023-2024 season and a great option if Elvis goes down or gets traded.

Amazing deal for what Roslovic brings. The only down side is that it walks him straight to UFA, but maybe by then Columbus will be a contender by then.

I'm all for sending Chinny down to the AHL. I completely agree on Bems. I don't think one of him or Foudy are on the team next year, and I guess I still am high on Foudy's upside as a B6+ guy.

I also think top pair is a bit rich for Blankenburg right out the gate, but I'm intrigued to see him play. I had never heard of him before CBJ signed him.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jarmo</b></div><div>Yeah, I think Yegor should be playing tonight as well. Unfortunately, don't think Brad does it (plays Yegor). I just want to see these lines for at least one shift. Maybe if Johnson plays well early in the game, he gets a chance to play with Laine in any situation.
I think every CBJ fan is excited to see Johnson (mainly) and Blankenburg during the last stretch of the season.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bdawwwgy1</b></div><div>idk man, Chinakhov has been pretty bad (he needs AHL time) all around but Bemstrom has been extremely efficient. Brad has said Chinny is dealing with an Upper Body injury and its why he hasn't been playing. I like to think that's true but chinny def needs some AHL time. You see great flashes of how good he is. Just needs to get more consistent and work on positioning.

Exactly…that’ll be a great team in a year or two.
Til then, no need to rush things and turn Chinakhov or Sillinger into the next Puljujarvi.

This team has another 3 wingers that could content for those bottom line spots. Hofmann danforth foudy all look nhl caliber. Not even to mention stenlund or dunne. I’ve really liked Hofmann to this point and I hope he starts with the big club. However he is a 28 year old and I understand we can’t wait forever to give foudy, bemstrom chinakhov a full time spot. (Even if they don’t make it)
Brad is going to have some really hard choices to make. Heck even our “number one center” might not make the team out of camp.

Also if Harrington makes the nhl club even as a scratch, I’m going to loose it. All of peeke, lehtonen, carlsson are better than him.

Obviously not my call, but I’d prefer Sillinger and Chinakhov go to the AHL. In general, my MO is that if they are waivers exempt and you are not in immediate need for them, a higher role in the AHL is better than a lower role in the NHL, particularly if the player is not designed to play that lower NHL role (think Dunne, Berni, etc. Guys who are best suited for Bottom 6/ Bottom 4 roles). Particularly with the CBJ’s position - rebuilds aren’t about losing, they’re about moving resources from winning to development. Which, yeah, typically leads to losing.
I think Danforth starts in the AHL as well. His last stint there did not go well, so they’ll see if he is better this go-around.
Re: Hofmann…play him. If he sucks, one year deal, move on.
If he shows promise, TDL chip.
If he looks like an All-Star, extend him.
