Completely disagree. Chytil should get around 5 to 5.5 thats so 4.0 is low but not far off. Laf would certainly take that deal as well. Very similar to Kakkos bridge deal. And othmann might not be ready for the first line immediatly, but he will be ready to play in the league next season. easily third if not second line foward. He would also fit the first line perfectly. And you give a way those assets for kane at a shot at winning the cup.

Your team is 6 points backs while the teams in front of you have three games in hand. Vitali hasnt and never will get a proper oppurtunity in New York, same with Zach Jones. for Vladi, a guy who is an elite player, a first, two upper teir prospects, because thats what they are, and two other picks is more than fair. I dont see the problem, especially since your team is gonna sell and probably retool. These players and picks give you assets to either trade or utilize to do that.

Georgiev has proven in the past that he can be a quality starter, if he is playing on a consistent basis. Hes younger than Mikko, and has experience already in the league. He is a cheap option to. I wouldnt expect the Oilers to stay with him long term (maybe 2-4 years), but hes an option until your goalie prospects become ready.

The Oilers need a goalie. I dont see any way for them to land Fluery, and the only other Goalie that I can see has a good possibility is Varlamov. If you want to go on a deep run, Mikko and Mike Smith wont cut it.
