I don't see too many teams who could easily take on his deal. On top of that he does have a 10 team no trade list. I'd estimate 4-6 teams would actually be able and willing to take on his contract. That being said, I wouldn't be shocked to see a 3 way trade where his salary is retained and he is moved to a different team at a more manageable price.

Take anything for Helm? -_- He is the ideal candidate for a playoff team at the trade deadline. Great bottom 6 player and is UFA. I'd even be fine with re-signing him to a 1 or 2 year deal until someone can take his place.

I agree with MAF. VGS will be hard pressed to find a team willing to take on that deal. Probably 3-4 teams actually are actually able to do it. If we are taking him we better be getting something good in return.

From the Wing's perspective, I'm not interested in moving my 1st rounder, or really any of my picks. Now isn't the time for these type of moves. From Tampa's perspective, they could prly get this type of return from another team for Stamkos, who imo, is gone this off season. I dont care if he has a NMC. The team has passed him by and he is no longer a piece of that puzzle. The extensions look good tho.

Idk about moving Killorn. He just had a monster year and is reasonably paid. Also he and Palat have NTC (among others). Do you think they are going to waive? I think TB will have a tough time moving these middle 6 guys who all have NTC.

He's waiver exempt this season due to not playing last season. He can be sent up and down like any other player still on their ELC. As for Ras, I'd like to see him in GR as well. All those guys playing together would be beneficial to them and GR.

Svech is expected to at least start in GR. He will not have to clear waivers due to him not playing last year.

Better off burying abby for 2 years and then buying out the final 2 years of his deal. Otherwise we will have to pay a team to take on that abby deal, even if we retain 50%. Nielsen and Helm are prly movable if we retain but it's pointless right now. Getting rid of Glen would be crazy. He's a great player, especially for only 1.8 mil per year.

Searching for owners to add to my ESPN H2H weekly league. Very active and very knowledgeable league. The league will cost you roughly $100 throughout the season. Cost includes the following: $50 season buy in, $20 playoff fee(8 teams) and $2 per loss(paid monthly). Currently winner should take home around $1000. The more teams the more money obviously. Many of those prospects have yet to even step foot on the nhl ice. Let's see what we have first before we trade away guys like AA. As for Trouba, he's from MI and his family is here. He's going to end up here one way or another. Even if it means spending another season in WPG or with another team until he hits free agency.
