Prospect swap LD to RD
The reports I'm reading say his stock is dropping due to difficulty adjusting front the European to NA game. Zelwegger is 100% not an option. He's our Adam Fox, Lundquist is the guy who lost out on the third RD spot to Schneider.

Zellweger isn't available, at least not for someone like Lundkvist.

Kerfoot move of course
Ha ha, absolutely not for the Ducks. He's a middle six rental and you have no leverage to ask for a pick, let alone a 2nd.

100%. Would have been a great upgrade on the top line with Terry/Z

Toews wants out
I'd like to counter "Anaheim has to get to the cap floor!" with "Muzzin has a full NTC".

And with the whole of Patches is traded for FCs Muzzin is going to cost <strong><em>a lot</em></strong> to move

Toews wants out
Ducks can easily get to the floor if they want to. They are waiting for teams to get desperate to get under the cap. They are going to get a ton of picks for bad contracts. Muzzins contract isn’t movable right now not to mention his NTC.

Lol, no. Anaheim isn’t paying a 2 and a 3 to ‘reach the cap floor’

2022-2023 Mighty Ducks
acquire guys like Lucic, Kassian, Monahan (?) — caps dumps and retain and flip some for picks
Don’t so and sign a big name guy just to do that but based off everyone Verbeek has worked with we are in just fine shape, Verbeek has got this
¡Oh and how could I forget, fire Eakins and hire Grönborg!

Stick to the plan. Be patient. Keep acquiring draft picks if possible and don't rush any of the prospects. Impact forwards can be acquired more cheaply than impact (top-pair) defensemen.

New Direction
Trading Gibson for Nylander solves one problem for Anaheim in the intermediate term but creates an equal problem longer term when Nylander's contract expires just when Anaheim's window to compete will be opening. Solving the goalie question for five years has an intangible value that's hard to quantify. No, thanks.

doubt Verbeek does this for anything less than a 2nd coming back, he did get Dadonov and a 2nd while sending over 1 million back to Vegas in contracts as well (I think Dadonov is a better player as well)

Buy Low Candidates
I like the targets but I think the offers are a bit low. Even with cap issues we aren't the on!y buyers in the league these teams have options.

Buy Low Candidates
Kerfoot's contract will be in high demand
He has a 3.5mill cap hit but once they pay him his bonus his new team will only owe him 750k
For teams wanting to reach the cap floor thats a contract they will pay for. Heck even teams looking for some depth he can be a nice piece.
2 4ths aint happening. Easily could get a 2nd + for him rn. Especially when you consider hes on pace for 55 points with no PP time

Trades
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>capsfan2121</b></div><div>I know he is puttting up points but how is Joseph doing</div></div>
He's consistently been the hardest working player on a team with Brady Tkachuk and Connor Brown. His motor is nonstop and he's consistently making an impact in all zones and all situations. Sens are gonna have the one of, if not THE best 3rd line in the league next year with Formenton-Pinto-Joseph.

Keeping the band together
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Edmund0</b></div><div>Right so FLA keeps him then. I’m just saying, no one will come knocking at the Panthers door to get a declining 5 mill dollar player. In the end, if Florida wants to “keep the band together”, they will have to pay to get rid of the obvious player. If not, they keep him and the pick but Marchment and Chiarot walk. They gotta decide what’s better for the now, since it is evident they are all in for the next few years.
Having said that, Hammonic got a third recently, so you may find that GM out there. History just shows Ducks GM Pat Verbeek isn’t that type of GM.</div></div>
And I doubt he waves for Anaheim unless they’re the team taking 50% of his salary to go to a contender. But it won’t be a problem getting rid of him without giving up a high pick. If anything it will be a late pick like a 5th and a 4th coming back

Tear down complete
Getting paid to take Moore’s cap hit (I feel like it was probably a 2nd), then flipping that contract to eat a bit more on Dadonov (who is actually an Nhler, as opposed to Moore), and getting another 2nd is absolute tenuous.
Will be even funnier when we offer sheet Hague!

Fowler is the perfect guy to have around for all the young defenseman

has pagnotta ever been right, especially about the Ducks.
I think he had the ducks listening on Terry, Comtois, Milano..im sure there was a steel one as well. the guy just poop posts at this point hoping he hits
I mean he did just made the claim that NYR would move Lafrenière In a big move and a few hours later that got shot down hard as he is not available via trade.

I agree with my brethren -- Anaheim isn't in a position yet to trade three firsts for anyone, never mind the fact that one of them could be our own 2023.
