<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>I was a fan of Borgman last year. If he deserves to be in top 6, maybe so switching to the right side by some one is necessary. You and me are kinda optimistic about the Leafs next year even wiihout Gardiner and Hainsey. Borgman, Rosen, Liljegren...maybe Sandin could be ready.</div></div>

I’m not opposed to dermott switching over either and pairing up with gardiner so long as he keeps progressing how he has. I didn’t get to watch the second game against Ottawa just the condensed version. Apparently Rosen did well too. Borgman in that first game was fantastic. I would rather see hainsey’s down time going to the left side so we can have that sorted out, I’m sure liljegren will get some starts on the right but I would really like to be patient with him and just make sure he is ready to go next year. Next season:

Reilly/Zaitsev
Dermott/liljegren
Borgman/Ozhiganov

I feel really good about this. We have been drafting well in the later parts of the 1st 2nd and even third rounds. If we can keep developing the future looks bright, even with our offence. As these kids move up we can keep the cupboards full of prospects and picks by moving out other players that aren’t part of our core. It’s beneficial to farm players rather than chase them in FA or trades.

I think with our offence generated by the blue line and some good team defence coming back from the forwards it makes for a very potent two way system.
