Not worth the value, nor does it make sense when we have Edvinsson, Walman, and hopefully Albert Johansson.</div></div>

In terms of value it is not close to a 1-1. Berggren is younger, more talented, and outproduces RHP in both the NHL and AHL

Any chance you have 06 or 96 rosters lol just from comparison standpoint to see just how far they fell

Playoffs with Celebrini
Cost of moving an underperforming goalie for one season at 4.75 TO the Habs = Detroit’s middle of the round 2nd this season.
Cost of moving an underperforming forward who’s best season was 2018-19 at 5.5 for 3 more seasons FROM the Habs = Colorado’s end of the 2nd round pick this season.
Hmm

Fabbri > Jarnkrok
Detroit would be essentially paying Jarnkrok 4.1M next season while Toronto gets a better player without two more years to deal with lol.
An AHL player and two nothing picks doesn’t justify that.
Edit* also I was commenting on why Robertson was brought in because it was irrelevant to the Detroit trade.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jacketsman61</b></div><div>Which is the reason why the Jackets aren’t trading him🙂</div></div>
Nor should they. Stud
.<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CaseyFlyman</b></div><div>He's equally as likely to be traded as Larkin.
Danielson, Edvinsson, and 2024 1st is rich for the player, but it's also not far off from realistic for how much it would take to make Columbus <em>actually</em> part with a guy who, at 26, is already the franchise's all-time leader among D-men in goals, assists, and points, regularly the best player on the ice, and likely next in line for the captaincy.
It's a little like the Boone discussion: yeah, the player is worth X, but to <em>actually </em> get him...well, how attached is your GM to his job?</div></div>
Would you trade Fantilli + Mateychuk + 2024 1st for Larkin?
That’s the comparison. The best player on the team, the somewhat injured, underrated, leader, life blood. Doesn’t make sense either way. I agree it’s the same as trading Larkin. If you think my offer is ridiculous, this is the equivalent.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SchlemCat</b></div><div>Detroit will have cap space at end of season, the Red Wings shouldn’t be resigning Perron and they need the depth upfront. They’re both reliable defensive forwards, Coleman’s having a great year and Mang somehow seems to get 60 pts each year</div></div>
Offense isn’t the problem. Test your theory in an ACGM with that trade and see what it does to the rest of the roster. Not discrediting the players, just showing you didn’t account for Detroit’s cap status.

This is the exact type of return that would kickstart a rebuild. And if Detroit were trading for him then it means they are trying to get to the next level.</div></div>
So you won’t acknowledge that 3 top 10-15 picks for a D who hasn’t played a full season in a long while is ludicrous. Don’t care if it “kickstarts” a rebuild, no franchise will willing part with that for a one player.

Understandable, and yes he is a great player. But to think you’re getting a top end D prospect who went 6th, another high end C prospect who went 9, a possible lottery pick, and more for a guy who still has his blemishes is just as unrealistic.

Detroit is desperate for the other end of the ice. Offense hasn’t been the issue.

Rantanen trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PenGoater99</b></div><div>Maybe the cap/timing/fit etc would be better if Yzerpiss didn't spend nearly $30 million on role players and bums like Copp, Compher, Holl, Chiarot, Fabbri, Husso, and Petry.</div></div>
Kasper - replaces Copp (moves him to wing to help insulate and should be a fine middle 6 W)
Danielson - replaces Compher (moves him to wing and JT has been great for Detroit)
ASP - replaces Holl - (touche as Holl is essentially the shot chart analyst in the press box)
Wallinder/AJ - replaces Chiarot (overpaid 3rd pairing D)
Mazur/Soda - replaces Fabbri (injuries aside, has been a decent player especially this year)
Cossa/Augustine - replaces Husso
Gibson/Tuo/Ant - replaces Petry
For a team projected to finish 7th in the Atlantic prior to the season, combined with the fact the prospects are developing well in the AHL and overseas, Yzerman has his team overachieving after taking over Holland's mess before the window is even open. I think they'll be fine lol
*EDIT* - Edvinsson - replaces Maata/Ghost

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NoVaSpartan</b></div><div>depending on where the Caps think Fabbri fits I think they'd consider this. I believe they'll hover more towards the decline though, as the center corp is likely set for next year with McM, Lapierre, Strome, and Dowd, and they'll potentially need spots for both Miroshnichenko and Leonard.</div></div>
Completely understandable. The reason I chose WSH was mainly Ovie. Fabs secretly decent on the PP and will pot 20 goals while being in the top 10 for FO% as a winger. He also scores some big time goals unexpectedly. Finally healthy and his numbers are close to DeBrusk who people sign as an FA for 6+. A nearly .5 PPG career player who could be viewed as a rental for one season (cheaper than FAs of his caliber) at 4 million for only one season seems realistic.
This ACGM was more built for players I am hoping they can sign with the cap.
