He's an absolute liability 5v5 and the Sabres PK was already plenty good.
Not to mention the Flyers had one of the worst PKs in the league the 3 years prior to this year where he was still the most common forward on the ice.
So it's far less likely that he was the cause of success, and far more likely that it was Torts' system mixed with the rise of York, Seeler, and Poehling.
Can't discount the removal of Staal and Risto from the PK either.
No need to spend quality assets on that.

Savoie is your 4th/5th best u22 forward and they have no need for Johnson. Minnesota have a decent amount of similar potential LHD prospects already.
