Asking them to take Hall when they have cap problems of their own and a Jack Campbell problem if they trade for a goalie is pretty foolish.</div></div>
Sorry, but if I’m the Bruins GM, I’m not concerned about other teams cap issues that’s for them to worry about but if they’re getting the better end of the deal, i.e. a lot better goaltender and a top six forward who can produce for about the same price then you figure out a way to move out other contracts. Again, it goes back to no one is untouchable even with NTC ect. If your GM comes to you and says listen, we really wanna move on from you because we’re going to be getting a better return and helping the team out eventually that’s gonna wear on you and you will want out no matter how much he says he wants to stay an Oiler.

Every team and player has a price no one is untouchable in the NHL. Just look at Wayne Gretzky. You will be getting a top 5 goalkeeper in the NHL and a top 6 forward former hart trophy winner to go on the wing with Drais. I think this is a win-win for both teams.

As a Boston fan I know it is a lot going the other way BUT I'm looking at two different things in this trade 1. Getting protecting/insurance if Pasta leaves but if he doesn't then we can get draft capital back. 2. Sharks still would have EK on the books for five more years and they are taking cap off our books.

Change out Curtis hall for another AHL player. Unfortunately that’s all we’re gonna be able to afford and I’m not seeing anywhere how the bonus overages are covered.

If I’m not mistaken, Arizona has the most cap space, so yes it’s gonna be a lot of capital going Arizona’s way. In addition to the two first round draft picks. You have three mid round draft picks along with two prospects and a roster player who they could flip again.

Buffalo does this becasue they get more draft capital. Draft picks are just like lotto tickets the more you have in one draft the better your odds of hitting something good and if you believe in your scouts then you want more draft picks.

That's just his cap hit because his $1,000,000 bonus is paid out soon but his base is $2,800,000. They are not doing the Bruins a favor because they are getting a good player but like I said he just didn't work out in Boston

Agree with you. The usual nonsensical reason when someone wants to dump bad cap. "leadership", or" veteran presence"</div></div>
It's not a bad cap it just did not work out in Boston so time to move on but those two leadership and veteran presence help build winning teams.

John Klingberg could sign that because it's comp to what Lindholm got. Plus he could take a little less to get a cup. It's always funny to me guys saying there is no way X player signs for X amount. Like they know what they want.

If DeBrincat wants out going after Kane and Toews
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TampaBayLightning22</b></div><div>Hawks 100% decline, that's pure rubbish for both players.
Besides Boston is heading for a full blown rebuild here. There's no way they go after both Kane and Toews.</div></div>
Boston is not heading into a full blown rebuild. If Chicago is trading DeBrincat, then Kane and Toews may want out because they would be going through a rebuild. The could also demand to be traded to the same team. Maybe you don't know the Bruins players that I put in this trade but say rubbish is laughable.
Studnicka who is 23 and was a 2nd round pick has done just about everything that has been asked of him and still finds himself in the AHL. Overall in 252 career OHL games, he scored 80 goals and 153 assists for 233 points while posting a +21 rating. He spent over three seasons with Oshawa and was named captain of the team in 2017-18. Studnicka represented Canada at the 2019 World Juniors Tournament, scoring a goal and four points in five games. He also appeared for Canada at the 2017 U-18 World Championship where he netted three goals in three games. I think this season if the Bruins hold on to him they play him on the 3rd line and even try him on the 2nd line. He still has top 6 pot.
Lohrei, Is the Bruins #2 Prospect is 21. There is a lot of hype around the Bruins’ 2020 pick in the second round at No. 58. After two strong seasons with the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL that saw him collect 69 assists in 98 games, he continued his strong play in his freshman season with Ohio State University. In 31 games for the Buckeyes before suffering an injury to end his season early, Lohrei had 25 assists and 29 points. At 6-foot-4 and 194 pounds, Loheri has a combination of being a physical defenseman in his own zone, while also adding in an impressive offensive game. He has top 4 pot
Haula, who just turned 31 a few months ago can play top six mins and has a very good cap number for that.
DeBrusk who is 25 former 1st round pick can play top 6 both wings and under contract for two more years. Can be a 30-40 goal scorer.
Wagner like I said is a cap dump
As far as the draft picks go if things go south like what happened to SJ and they traded their first round pick to Ottawa and it became a top pick then that 2023 1st round pick (BOS) and 2022 2nd round pick (BOS) could be big then the bottom of the round.
So in this trade 3 top 6 guys and one top 4 guy and maybe two top draft picks if Boston drops off.

Sure as hell not adding to Scheifele for that crap</div></div>
Yes Jake is a LHW but he has shown he can play on the right side on the top line. As far as the 23 1st round pick goes after this next season Boston could start the rebuild and if they totally suck that 23 pick could be a top five pick kind of what happened with the SJ and Ottawa deal. Studnicka doesn’t hold much value you say but with a fresh start and how young he is that could change he is a wildcard. And last you don’t need another LHD but he plays in the top four so he could be flipped or someone else on your team traded.
