What's wrong with that? Nuge is one of the Oilers top 6 forwards. Assuming Maroon is resigned, Oilers best players are Mcdavid, LD, Maroon, Nuge and Lucic. If Pool Party and Yamo work out then Oilers are not screwed. Nuge is a key part of this team.

Myself I'm a huge RNH fan but sadly I don't think we will be able to afford him unless we dump one of Russell or sekera which is unlikely. If nuge keeps up the pace he is at right now he could fetch a huge return

I think Oilers will be able to trade Russell and Sekera. I believe with the expansion dollars and canadian dollar, the cap will raise enough for Oilers to sign their RFAs (some who maybe be traded before TDL) and when it comes to resigning Talbot then Russell or Sekra are traded. Unless there's a major cap increase next summer like up to $80 million, There's no way you can afford to hold onto RNH once McDavids $12,5 million kicks in the Oilers have $13.5 million to spend on 10 players next summer it can't be done without moving bodies and good luck with that.
