No money was retained on the Mrazek trade, actual team cap hit is $2,000,000 below what is shown.
DET owns the 2018 7th round pick (DET) since the condition was not met in a trade with CGY in July 2017.
DET was awarded a compensatory 7th round pick for winning the NCAA bracket challenge
*DET has the option to reclaim the pick if it is in the top-3. If DET elects to reclaim the pick, VAN receives the 2019 2nd round pick (DET) and 2020 1st (DET)

No I don't think I need to add a pick. Duclair is an NHL regular and Chlapik has some work to do still to get to that level. The risk involved is why I'd want the pick, not a swap of picks.

talking to my AGM
Edit: I'll probably be back with a different offer
I'll bite....Cody Eakin, how much??
I may need another "drink stirrer".
Haha. I know pick currency is hard to find right now but I'm looking for a 2nd. maybe a 3rd-plus. I'm trying to make some room in my fwd group for next year so I don't really want a hockey trade... unless we could manage a 3way or some way I get a dman who is waiver exempt
It's a possibility. I like Lehner, I'm just not sure how much NHL front offices like him. Seems like he's done in BUF and might be looking at a backup role elsewhere... In any case, let's talk at the draft or after, as I have a few other priorities with some of my draft pick assets right now.

Alrighty. I could be open to a "hockey trade" if that works best for you

Any interest in Cody Eakin?

2 names....
Reimer & Jones
I like Jones, not sure where to start on an offer though. What are you looking for bud?
Quoting: Icegirl
Tristan Jarry might be available in October. (If Kaapo Kahkonen makes the Wild out of camp, that is.) Shall we plan for then?
I can't even plan for the weekend - Jarry is good but not pushing for a starting job, I think I need a bona fide starter unless I can find someone on the cheap and hope they bounce back.

Had to get creative with this one, but here goes....I love Jones and have watched him since his WHL days with the Hitmen.
I mean think about what you'd be getting....
With the exception of the Memorial Cup touney and 1 single ECHL game, he's NEVER had a GAA over 3.00 or a SVS% under .900
Since becoming a full time WHL/NHL player, he's only not led his team to the playoffs twice in 11 years.

Maybe this is too much, but then again, maybe it's not enough.
He's a great goalie - I see why you're asking a lot. Maybe we could negotiate down from there because that's too steep for me. Let me check around with some other options. We've got all summer to make a deal

Not particularly, I was thinking maybe around a winger (Soshnikov, Brown, Johnsson and Wood were the guys that caught my attention). Not sure if that works for you or not, but you’ve got a crap ton of wingers that can play
no thanks. I'm not sure if you saw my post before, but you should be aware that you own Ahl's rights beyond this summer (you own his rights until June 2019) so you don't need to get rid of him. You can continue to own him as an unsigned prospect for another year.
Hey, would you like Petrovic? If so, can we have Blais, Cholowski and 2018 PIT 5th
I might be interested in Petro but that's pretty steep for a guy who's probably peaked at being a 3rd pair guy. I'll get back to you with a counter if some other RD ideas I have fall through.

So i guess we don't need to sign him this year and we could sign him next year then? (if the game is still going by then, that is).
