It's an okay trade for the Canucks ... i don't like it from Pittsburgh, i thought Pouliot had the potential to be a top 4 d-man if he stayed there.

Absolutely no chance of getting top 4. When he got his chances to play in the NHL, he didn't take them and always looked out of place. I'm glad the Pens got something for him while he still had some value, albeit very small, and the Canucks get someone who, in a new and different situation, can hopefully contribute to their lineup. Its sad Pouliot didn't work out in Pittsburgh, but best of luck to him in Vancouver.

What a shame. He really seemed like a good prospect for Pittsburgh a few years ago.
