            End of May, trades start June 2 coinciding with the start of the entry draft. Going to give GMs about 2 weeks to formulate a team plan from when all teams are assigned to the start of trades and such.

            I would rather take cap back instead of retaining and could do that. Could we do MVS or Toews + pick + cap?

            Well first i'm just gonna check, you'd take back enough cap to even out the cap, right? If so, it depends what cap you're taking back. Who would you want to even the cap out?

            Good question. How about Pelech? That means you’re only taking on around $3.5M if I’m not mistaken for a guy who can be your second or third liner, which is pretty good.

            Considering he only has one year left on his contract and is a starting goaltender, around $5M is a great contract actually.
