*Young* core headed to a cup run within 2 years. Our D core may be a bit weak now, but it should be poppin' by the time Chabot and even Juulsen grow.

Trade notes:
- Ho-Sang is playing good. Might truly break out this season. But I need better D. Give me an offer!
- Pouliot for one upper-mid pick (he'll bounce back to fringe 2RW level, just you see)

I had a chance to think it over and I've decided I'm not interested in Helm.
Sorry about that, when you seemed hesitant I started looking at other possibilities and feel like I'm in better shape without this trade and if I do make a trade, I can find one that better suits my needs.

I'd like to combine Cammalleri + Boedker in a package for one slightly better player.
If I can't manage that, I've decided I'm fine having Boedker or Ladd on the 4th line, even though it bothers me and looks out of place.

Oh, forgot to answer that. As stated in my description, I don't care about my ugly contracts. I've got tons of cap space to spare.
Plekanec will expire in a season, no reason to move him.
Pouliot will play 2LW role this season in Buffalo, he's a dark horse candidate.
Helm, while somewhat overpaid, still is capable in a 3C role. He brings other elements to the team that don't exactly show up in stats.
Brown and Juulsen are unavailable. They are part of my future plans.
Neilsen can be available if you've got an offer.
I'm low on Maata.
I don't particularly need RNH, but that's probably the only sizable player on your team with value for me.
Absolute zero interest in Atkinson with one year until UFA.
Scandella could be interesting, but I'm only willing to part with one of the pieces you've mentioned, and he won't be enough.

I'll offer something else on your page.

Woah, are you insane? That's the lowest offer I've ever received on Dzingel. He's an RFA player with some upside, already posting 3rd line numbers. Barbs is UFA in 1, and bottom pairing level with some upside. Don't think I can be dealing with you if this is how you value your players.

No problem. Was too focused on value and not on needs. Doesn't mean we can't make a different deal.
I might be interested in Faksa with Boedker and Dillon as options. I'm okay with keeping Cammalleri where he is.
3C is a position I could still use an upgrade in. More of a luxury than a need, but it's worth looking into.

How close would Faksa and Paajarvi for Boedker and Dillon be?
I don't think the cap difference is an issue for you, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I understand what you mean. For this deal, I don't think we value Faksa the same. He's a young 3C, 33pts, can take on heavy defensive assignments (needed in every team), and even still has some upside (will he reach 2C? Maybe, maybe not, but he can become a fringe one). That's where I stand on Faksa. As a result, I wouldn't be willing to do Faksa for Boedker (who struggled since joining SJS) and Dillon (who's also had his struggles), let alone including Paajarvi in the deal.

I can do something along Dzingel+Paajarvi for Boedker+Dillon. If you want a C option in a low/mid end deal, Helm or Plekanec is your guy for this team.

Or if you want Faksa, we could do Faksa+Helm+Paajarvi for Couturier+Dillon. The reason for this offer was that Couturier and Faksa have similar points, but I prefer the former due to his longer contract. This gives you your line 2 and 3C, and won't cost you more than you're paying now.

I'm willing to add to Boedker and Dillon for Faksa and Paajarvi, but I'm not willing to move Couturier. No interest in Dzingel.
I think we value Faksa about the same, good 3C that may or may not be able to do more.
So if you're okay with getting those pieces and moving those two players, could I add a pick to make up the difference? If so, what pick?
If not, does Pouliot instead of Paajarvi work better? (Either is 4th line for me, but some people think Pouliot has a chance at 2LW in Buffalo. I'm not one of those people.

Nice to hear, but I must quote my description:
"WILL NOT TRADE (I'll cut off all communications if you ask):
- Trouba, Orlov, Chabot
- First line forwards"

I've eased up on that statement in regards to trading my first line wingers (willing for the right deal, but not really looking to trade them). However, when it comes to ROR, Chabot, and especially Trouba, there is no possible upgrade you can offer me that fits my needs. He is the epitome of my needs.

Are you still offering a slight downgrade and a pick, or two considerable downgrades?
If so, then I can't afford to have lower quality bottom-6ers right now, sorry. My bottom-6 ain't too pretty as it is. I'm willing to give up a pick with Dzingel for a RW upgrade though.

Which I don't have. Palmieri and Okposo are not for sale. Martinook + two 4ths won't cut it, even if both 4ths are 2018 ones?

Bummer, but I'm not willing to downgrade like that.

Although on a side note, I'm willing to do something like Paajarvi+Pouliot(1M retained)+2nd (2019 or 2020)+5th for Palmieri+3rd
Using your words, Pouliot is due for a rebound.

He is due for a rebound, but I'm definitely not giving up Palmieri for him. I suppose I could put him back on my 3rd line if I decide to move Foligno to the 4th though. If you want to give him back to me, keep firing offers.
