That's really odd, are you sure about this? This was the team I inherited, but also Reinhart was already listed as having a 1-yr 2017-2018 RFA contract with Ottawa in real life... Unless maybe the game started before that contract, and the previous owner chose not to give a qualifying offer?

I appreciate the attempt, but those pieces don't do anything for me. You're offering depth at positions I already have plenty of depth in.
I like that Paajarvi is a part-time bottom 6'er. The biggest surprise would be if he plays 80 games.

A 2nd rounder is the only return that I can see that realistically works unfortunately. Other pieces are either of no value to me or too high value for what I'm offering.
Not sure we can reach an agreement this time, but I'll let you know if I come up with something.

How about one last attempt? Take off either Hammond/Driedger or Jokipakka (whichever you need less), and add my 2020 3rd from my side (no pick back from you). Would that get it done?
Really, out of the two, I'm a little more interested in Boedker than Dillon (though I *need* Dillon more, I'm not so high on him personally), so if there's something we can mould around Boedker/Helm, that's what I'm most interested in.

I'd be hesitant to take Helm without Dillon going back, for future cap implications. I'm in good shape now, but I want to make sure I remain that way in 3 years time.
Replace the remaining player with Paajarvi and we can make a deal. (The other guys just don't do anything for me)

Boedker + Dillon for Helm, Paajarvi + 3rd (OTT - 2020). I think I can live with that if you can. Sound like a deal?

Huberdeau is UFA in 6, Skinner is UFA in 2. I've repeated time and time again that I don't believe my team will be cup-ready until two seasons from now, so I don't want assets that expire before that.
Not to mention, Skinner's advanced stats indicate he's quite poor at defense and terribly poor at build-up play. So if anything, you'd be sending me a pick.

If we're talking Huberdeau, we're talking Marchand/Bergeron. Or we could go with the prospect approach and be talking Tkachuk/Nolan. I'm also willing to talk Seguin if we're upping the ante to this level. I'll see if I can think of something that works in both our benefits (but generally speaking, not anxious to trade either).

Don't know if you can read, but I have no interest in Skinner. If I'm moving Seguin, it's for something that really pushes my team's agenda further. I would really appreciate if you read and respected my wishes in future trade proposals. If you don't have what it takes to acquire Seguin, others definitely do.

I happened to see you were offering Dillon elsewhere so I thought you'd confirmed our deal and was confused.
I don't like to do trading that way though. If the deal doesn't stand up on it's own without the other one in place, you probably shouldn't do it.

I don't mind waiting, but I'm going to look at other possibilities while I do.

*Sigh* Well I'm not shopping him but I've been fielding offers. Most gravitate around something like a first line forward (minimum 3yrs till UFA) plus an upgrade swap on Dillon. I much prefer if we can do these trade talks on Twitter though, it's usually a lot of back and forth for someone like Seguin. @AradAndrewB

Although I've looked at your team over 10 times and never have found a trade worth suggesting. Don't think we're too compatible. The D would have to be Myers or Doughty (owch for you), but then they're not even that useful to me because they expire in 2 years (as I've said 20 times before, I'm slowly building into contendership in that time, so they're useless to me now). So realistically, they'd just be someone I'd be flipping.
