Okay, so there's only a handful of GM's I've actually seen active here since V2 opened.
I tried to start getting us to opening day rosters so we can wrap up and reset (if that's what people want).
Only one GM has participated in that process, and I know there are several others that have player removals to submit.

Can we get a roll call so I can build a list of who is still active and who has abandoned ship?

I saw this coming Rico. Until V2 is up and running, both games will be up in limbo a bit. Half the V1 Gm's are no longer playing so the position is open for somebody new, a quarter of the newer GM positions are not even being tended to example Slimeysnake, etc.

Until V2 is fully taken care of I have a feeling V1 won't be able to proceed functionally.

I'm still in limbo.... Will not actively be in V1... just waiting on L9... 2 weeks and counting

I know. I want to see who's actually here and remaining, then I'll work on "fixing" the rest.
There isn't a lot left to do for V1 if you're done trading, so it's fine if it's quiet, as long as business is still being taken care of.
I know Arizona has Markov to deal with and he's not the only player on a roster that is no longer in the NHL, for example, but it still hasn't been posted.
Even if I can get less active people to just help me finish up a few little tasks I'll be satisfied.

This game could get attention again after GMs in V2 make the 4 trades a month and need their fix

Here. I will continue to work on Anaheim in v1 but if there are AGMs wanting to practice running a team, I'd give Anaheim up to focus on WPG in v2...

OK I re-made Dallas. Missing some scrubbos, but the roster has basically everyone that is worth anything. I would also be willing to hand the team over if someone else really wants it, as I am focusing mostly on NYR V2.

Any v1 teams available?

i know this is from 10 days ago but try asking one of the v1 BOG member's v2 team page.

I have a question: Is v1 done or not? IMO we should either end the game (saving the teams though), or keep the game going. Not kind of keep the game going without planning a draft, free agency, etc.

It appears to be the end of an era........

if the game is over, can the game be over? I think a decision needs to made that isn't 'we kind of keep the game going and we kind of don't.'

Since nobody's playing v1 anymore is it okay if i just sign John Tavares for 7 years at 9M per season?

Technically no, but in practice, we couldn't care less what you do with v1.

In other words, do whatever you wish.

I said before that I would give everyone time to save their rosters and then ask for it to be closed and archived.
I didn't do the second part yet, but for all intents and purposes, v1 has been over for a while.
