Yeah man I just can't see why the Wild would trade the 13th overall pick for that when they can get something better by keeping it

So much wrong here. But the main issue is why are you paying CGY a 3rd to take Brown?

respectfully, this is kind of a mess:
1. the bruins aren't sellers, they're not shipping out geekie and lysell for picks
2. WAY light on the lindholm deal
3. $1M too much for both swayman, debrusk, and bertuzzi in my opinion.
4. triple heinen's contract.
5. why ditch peeke?

Take Peeke and Bahl out of the devils trade and you’ve got a winner. It may be good as is.

1. Trading Peeke for Bahl is just dumb. Peeke is better and fits the system.

2. Trading Lysell is an odd decision. His trade value and talent potential don’t align right now. Keep him and try him. He’s been highly productive in Providence

3. Brown can be buried for free and Kuntar has outplayed his draft position as a third rounder.

My guess is it would include the two seconds (Wiinnipeg and NJ) if it isn’t the 2025 first

You're getting the 13th overall pick in the draft, and you think the Bruins should hold out for more?

I don’t believe Minnesota does that deal even though I believe Lysell has more potential than the likely 13th pick. Probably more downside as well

I’d actually be all for that. I’d opt to change one of the seconds to a prospect like Nolan Foote or Graeme Clarke (in place of one of the second rounders) just so Boston has some forward depth that can play in the NHL soon but I would not make a fuss. I think the trade would have to happen on July 1 so the devils can be compliant with the 6 goalies under contract limit. I don’t think it matters though because they are 2025 draft picks.

We shouldn’t value either of those players more than guys we have in Providence now. Merkulov and Lysell are both better. I’d argue Farinacci has more upside

I believe the trade, if it happens, is around the 2024 draft since those are the likely deals that you are going to be competing with. Worse case, a swap of goalie prospects with Svedebeck who is on our reserve list.

Alternatively, I’d offer Nico Daws as a waiver exempt goalie prospect. He would fill Brandon Bussi’s spot with the providence bruins for the time being and is capable. He had good stretches this season until Lindy Ruff ran him into the ground by playing him 7 games in a row. I have no clue about the bruins goalie prospect pool but it’s an offer.

Kind of confused, but i think this is what we are talking about

To NID: Linus Ullmark and Phillip Svedebeck
To BOS: 2025 2nd (NJ), 2025 2nd (WIN), and Nico Daws
