Hi,
Can you guys update a couple Habs players:
Andrew Shaw: Is a RW/C. Yes he can take some faceoffs. Yeah sure he gets thrown at LW if ever they need a quick fit but realistically he's a RW/C. Any time he's not at that position its just to replace someone while they are injured/benched/etc because he is a versatile player and is generally decent at faceoffs. Ever since coming to MTL he has been a RW though. His taking faceoffs comes more from MTL being bad at the dot and being so weak down the middle overall, on a better team at C, Shaw wouldn't be taking so many faceoffs. He'd never be deployed as a C for more than 2 games in a row at best.
Paul Byron: Is a RW/LW. I don't think has ever been deployed as a C. He's always been a winger. LW or RW. Maybe in junior but those days are long gone.
Jacob DeLaRose: Is a C/LW. Only time he is deployed as a LW is when he is the 13th forward and all the other centres are healthy but his natural position is center and will mainly be played there.
