why Pittsburgh?

Depends what kinda salary I was making at the time... IF I was like in the 10M range I'd want to be in a place with a nicer tax rate... Least this is a good idea not like the NTC or whatever posting .
1 Florida Panthers its a Stand Your Ground State so I would be able to defend myself and family .
2 Tampa They have Hedman, Stamkos, a decent team to perhaps win another Cup.
3 Vegas so I could be their best player/leading scorer make all the records that nobody would ever break or tie .
4 Kings so I can show them how to be Great Again .
5 Winnipeg Jets so I can win a cup for Bob Essensa The Shut Out King among others who played in that place ...

Note if I was a Goalie the list might be a bit different omitting Vegas perhaps since their defense is horrid and LA.
I'd replace them with Colorado so I could get stoned legally ... Since would be facing a ton of shots its only fair .
Blues so I would be a hero winning the only Cup that place will ever see as the Goalie .
Dallas would be too hot for me I think to live in a place like that besides Belfour already won there Eddie The Eagle or whatever . I don't like Hitch really only a few of his movies .

Thanks I thought of Cujo when he was on Blues it seemed like he faced a ton of shots . I think can do that in Vegas too so Pickard can still beam up to the Enterprise there .

Buffalo (get to play with Eichel, Nylander, Mittlestdat, Reinhart, and Ristolainen, and is also my favorite team)
Tampa (nice weather, great players, and the tax situation helps)
Nashville (with hockey and music being the 1/2 punch in my life, it just makes sense, also that defense group)
Chicago (will still be a power house for the next 2-3 + years, and would get to play with Kane and Toews)
Ottawa (get to play with the best defenseman in decades + with Karlsson and myself on the right side, we'd win a championship no prob)

Well most if not all on here will never play for them, so not alone hehe ... I'd play for anybody if they gave me enough money its just a job at end of the day . I'm sure the fans would hate me just the same if I loved the team or not . I think it might be harder to play for a team really like since would pressure self more or feel hurt if fans boo'd or didn't like as a player wanting to trade or buyout/etc .
