Cheap pick up. Emelin is a bit over-payed, but as a #5 Dman, really solid!

Vegas wins. NSH gives a third for a guy who will be left on the third pairing, he's overpaid as well. VGK got a steal in this one.

I like this for Vegas just to dump his hefty contract... I don't think Nashville is better with him over Irwin/Weber... Even if they are he is pretty pricey for a guy likely to be a 3rd pair... Either way I don't think his production will match his pricetag... They didn't lose because they lacked Emelin, now if they can shed Stoner's contract or some others that will be good . Shows Vegas made some bad moves/picks to not be a factor at all on the first day of free agency other than ditching this guy for a 3rd round pick they will probably botch anyway .
