Stamkos isn't signing with Montreal, And i seriously doubt the Rangers can afford to pay him $7,000,000 per for 4 or 5 years.

I honestly dont know about Toronto anymore. Maybe they might but it all depends on certain factors

Interesting ufa, has his cups and cash, possibly looking for legacy cup over cash. Rather screams leafs for a bargain. Not in the Tom Brady realm of leaving a dynasty and adding a ring, but kind of interesting all its own.

Really depends on what Stamkos is looking for, I would guess he's looking for fair pay + term (so that he could retire on that second team), and he could be looking for somewhere that is similar to TB in terms of climate or being a tax haven. Maybe he goes somewhere because of a personal connection, or he just goes to a contender/rising team that can afford to keep him around.

Maybe he wants to stay in Florida, so he goes with the Panthers. I don't think the Leafs would be an option unless Nylander is no longer on the team, so he may choose to go to a place close like Buffalo (as someone mentioned) or Ottawa. I would have to agree with MoSeider about MTL (or NYR due to cap). I think if he was going somewhere because of a personal connection with a member of the organization, then maybe Detroit (if he's cool with but more than likely Vegas since they have Pietrangelo and would also check off some other boxes.

Honestly would bet a large chunk of cash if he leaves TB (which I doubt) that he doesn't end up in Toronto!!!!!!!
