NSH is giving up the best pieces and taking on a bunch of cap. It's a bad deal for them.

I think it’s pretty fair from the Leafs side but Hanifin would have to sign an extension. Which he doesn’t want to come to Canada anyway.

Minten is good but I feel he is our 3rd ranked prospect C behind Holmberg and Cowan. I like Steeves too but we do have many prospect wingers plus an aging Brodie and 1st for Hanifin with 50% retention for his final year.

Leafs wouldn’t do it with extension… You would have to take out Minten, for sure and prob replace Brodie for Timmins or something like that
