It doesn't make sense to have Kane and Nylander. They do the same thing. Can't have too many guys that are pure offense. Every team can have 1 no problem, but more than that and you're risking too much in the back end. IF Kaner signs with TOR it'll likely mean Nylander is traded and Kaners cap hit could be a bit higher. I still think there's great value in a Schmaltz Nylander trade. The money speaks volumes to AZ. Schmaltz is criminally underrated. Every bit as fast as Nylander and his defense is better than Nylanders. Kaner would like that too. He and Schmaltz are friends. And it allows Kaner to be that pure offensive player.
