HHOF isn't what it used to be.
I think too many players get in who don't deserve it

Some of the guys they’ve put in recently are real head scratchers eh? Like they were all good/great players but hall of fame? I’m with you on that one

What pisses me off the most is that Mogilny, Tkachuk, Gonchar, Cujo, Brind a'mour and even though he kind of was boosted by gretzky but Bernie Nichols aren't in the hall of fame but Barraso and Clark Gilles are in the hall of fame. I would have said Kevin Lowe doesn't deserve to be in the Hall but he has 6 cups

Agreed! Mogilny not being in is a crime. One of the first to defect from USSR, 76 goal season, over 1000 career pts, over a point per game, Olympic Gold, WC gold, WJC gold, Stanley Cup like what more could you want lol

How is Price, Burns, Kessel, Bobrovsky and Quick not in. Price has a Hart, Lindsay, Vezina, Jennings, 7 all star games, Olympic gold medal, Olympics best goalie, world juniors gold, world juniors mvp and Bill Masterton trophy. Quick has 2 jennings, 3 cups, conn smythe and a olympic silver medal. Bobrovsky has 2 vezinas, 3 all star teams, World Championship gold, world champion ship best goalie and has had the most wins in the league and shutouts. Burns has 6 all star games, 1 Norris, 2 world championship best d-man, world championship gold, world cup gold, 1200 games played and a NHL foundation award. Kessel has Olympic best player award, 3 time all star, Iron man streak, 1200 games, 992 points and a Masterton Award

While I agree with you on most of those, Tom Barrasso 100% belongs in the HoF and should have been inducted earlier. The one thing that held him back all these years was his contentious relationship with the media, many of whom are still HoF votes. He graduated high-school and was in the NHL 6 months later where he won the Calder and Vezina as a teenager (he turned 19 the day before the regular season ended), completely unheard of. Add two Stanley Cups, an Olympic Silver Medal, most points by an NHL goalie (48), most playoff wins by an American goalie (61), a Jennings trophy, a First Team All-Star and two Second Team All-Stars. Also, his win percentage is right up there with Cujo, but he has more hardware, so if you think Cujo deserves it, Barrasso does as well.

But I totally agree, fact that Mogilny isn't in is absolutely ridiculous.

Price won Hart, Vezina, Jennings, Pearson all in same season. Bobrovsky has had 1.5 great years, a few decent ones and a few average ones. Quick’s 2012 was one of the best runs we have ever seen, but the full body of work does not make him a lock.

Kessel has games played streak going for him. But has never gotten a single vote for best player in any given season. He has largely been a passenger in some good teams. Weber and Burns have probably decent chances, but I think will ultimately fall short.
