lol what is off? Those will be the pairings, and the bottom 6 may be juggled, but the top 6 will start this way.
Lol, the top six will not start that way as Guentzel will miss the first two or three weeks of the season, at least. Your fourth line will be the third line, with Nieto in over Johnsson. There’s a zero percent chance O’Connor-Pitlick-Nylander is their third line. Zero. You don’t even have Nieto in the lineup and he’s a lock to play ahead of Pitlick, Nylander, and Johnsson.
As far as the D, it’s just as likely Graves-Letang and Petts-Karlsson, if not better. Letang and Petts know the system very well, better to pair one with each of the new guys. Graves & Karlsson are not rookies, but it serves to have them paired with a partner to whom the system is second nature. So, yeah, there’s a lot wrong with your lineup.
Edit: forgot to mention Hinostroza, who will likely make the team ahead of Pitlick and Nylander, as well. If their forward group is ever healthy, Pitlick & Nylander will probably be on the waiver wire & headed to WB/S.
