Tanev for pick 39 is interesting, I don't think our gm would trade an early second for a rental, but it's at least a reasonable ask. That means that the rest of the proposal works out to be- savoie the 9th overall pick from last year, a kid who is the Sabres top prospect and by all indications was not available for chychrun or timo meir...and we would be moving him for two second round picks, a fourth round pick, and a kid that was drafted in the seventh round last year. I don't think the Sabres gm would stay on the phone long enough to say no.
