I'm gonna say Hawks pass. I'm not knocking the pieces in the deal from Edmonton, but they don't seem to be what the Hawks would be looking for. The '24 2nd is likely a pick in the 50's. Kulak is a capable NHL d man, but he just blocks the path for all the LD prospects the Hawks have in their pipeline. And he has 3 years left on his deal. Savoie is a smaller size guy who seemed to struggle transitioning to pro hockey.

Kulak is better off in Edmonton, had a good playoffs and would be a great mentor for Broberg.

Yamamoto would be better off bought out, if you’re throwing picks away just to trade him then your losing assets and picks.

more valuable position and WAYY more upside imo. boqy could be a quality 3c at some point, bastian will never be anything more than a 4th liner

I don't disagree (though bastian is quite good), I just doubt the team sees it that way.
