You aren't getting the better player and a pick for PLD, sorry but that's just the cold hard truth.

I hate to point out that Schneider is not better than PLD not even close he is however a couple years youger and plays RD so i think its fairly balanced for a rental pure rentals get more than that in a lot of cases

Regardless its going to take way more than one year of PLD to get Schneider away from the Rangers. Rangers need a solid 6th defenseman. Trading Schneider for what amounts to a rental forward doesn't help them.

Canes pass. Scheifele is the antithesis of a Hurricanes player. Doesn’t forecheck, doesn’t play defense, and isn’t a locker room guy. Add in he will be too old to re-sign.

Schneider is too valuable to the rangers. IMO i think he is a better defensemen that Key but that is ignored because Key can shoot and score. Kinda like how EK will probably win Norris for having the most point but isnt a "defensemen".

PLD is going to Montreal i suspect in the near future.

IMO, I think Schneider is a better RH version of Guhle which is saying a lot cause I really, really like Guhle. If Trouba wasn't there the Schneider would definitely be in the top 4 but you can't pay Trouba that much money to play 3rd pairing lol

Jets fans are delusional with the PLD trade to NYC. He isn't signing there long term so the Rangers pass plus Schneider is unavailable for a trade.
