Love the idea of bringing Colton home but that just makes no sense for Tampa. Blackwood is not that good anymore, and teams know that he's your THIRD string goalie. No way Tampa trades a young depth forward for that. TB might need a backup because Elliott is a UFA (potentially retiring) but lucky for them, there's a surplus of backup goalies in unrestricted free agency this year. Why trade Colton for a backup when you can sign Reimer, Jones, Halak, Rittich, etc. in free agency?

It's beyond dumb for NSH. Who trades a 1st+ for a pile of depth pieces? Sharangovich is maybe worth a 3rd - the elderly guys less than that. They don't combine into something bigger and better like a Voltron.

Tampa Bay declines. If they are forced to trade Colton they'll get FAR BETTER offers than Blackwood one for one. If NJ wants Colton, the deal starts w/ Bahl, then maybe a F like Boqvist.
