So Calgary is taking on additional cap for one season of Nylander

Now, you can make the argument that Calgary might do that because Nylander has higher value than that combo, although Nylander recorded 87 points last year and Dube and Hanifin combined for 83 points, and both can be expected to do better than that playing on Toronto instead of Calgary (see Huberdeau and Weegar), and Dube is a RFA under team control for more than the single season remaining on Hanifin's and Nylander's contracts, but even so, what do Ruzicka and the first-round draft pick have to do with this?
