Tanev would be the right partner for Chabot but he's getting old, has a lot of mileage on his body (injuries) and doesn't have term
Change management and coaching before trading Chabot. Get him his Methot (Zub is better suited as a 2nd pairing RHD)

Yeah the flyers do not want to take an overpaid Joseph. He is 26 so older than what the flyers want in return and he has never even scored 20 points in a year. And he makes 3mil? No thank you. Greig or Boucher instead of Joseph or no deal for me
I wouldn't say that Joseph is overpaid at 2.95 AAV. He's an elite PKer, one of the best skaters in the league and has a 0.45 PPG in Ottawa (37 pts per 82 games) but I can understand the frustration with him as he leaves you wanting more. I would say he has 3rd round pick value for a team looking for a decent 3rd liner and who has cap space.
I don't know how much people expect to get for Hart but Calgary's 1st is 16th OA, which is pretty valuable based on the strength of this draft.
Thomson is worth a 2nd so it is very close to what Ottawa paid for Alex DeBrincat
Is there anybody who wants to argue that a goalie with pedestrian numbers is worth almost as much as a 25 y/o 2 times 40 goals scorer?
7th in 2022 vs 16th in 2023
2nd vs Thomson (pretty good offensive skillset, good numbers in the AHL)
3rd vs Joseph (elite PKer, decent 3rd liner)

I wouldn't mind giving up Boucher instead of Joseph, I think he has the same value at most (3rd). Greig on the other hand... I wouldn't trade him for anything less than a package for Konecny. I wouldn't trade him for anything less than a top-10 pick. Completely different value. Anyone who followed him closely in the WHL, AHL, WJC and NHL, it's easy to see that he'll be a special player
