Trying to be realistic, especially with contracts. No hometown discounts, and young guys getting a chance to play in the bottom 6.

I’d prefer Vaaks for Forbort, rather than giving up a pick.

Coyle would not waive to go to CBJ. I doubt he waives his NTC at all. Also, Hall doesn’t fetch a first even with McLaughlin. Bringing back Foligno for the right price would serve you guys well as a stop gap for some of these young guys who may not all be ready. I think it’s worth looking into. At this point he surely be pretty well below 2 million aav. Maybe even closer to a million.

I always liked Vaak. I would make that change, then we can get rid of Zboril.

Obviously this would depend on him waiving, which I agree is unlikely.

Nothing is impossible, but the team is still cap compliant even if I reverse that trade.

Thought about Hall for a couple of 2nds, but Colorado has none. Also considered sending him to Dallas for a 2nd and a center prospect (Damiani)

3rd and Beaucage from Avs prob about it.

Stars - 2nd/Stranges

Canes - 2nd/Drury or Rees

Doubt you can pull a 1st without cap coming back.

Where it really gets lost is the Coyle trade. Everything else is pretty reasonable. Much rather have Pinelli than Kupari but i could live with it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lohrei not ready. Keep Zboril for that slot, can’t get a 3rd for him anyway

Took Kupari because Bruins seem to love the guys who can play all 3 forward positions. Don't want to trade Coyle, but next years UFA class is loaded and Roslovic is a UFA we can let go at years end.

Someone has to replace Landy, and Colorado is in "win now" mode.

Columbus trade one- sure Columbus could use the help on the left side of the defence.

Columbus trade two - Coyle is all yours, I’d rather have Roslovic as a 3c at 4 mil for one season and hand the role off to Sillinger, Jenner or a center they draft this year, vs getting Coyle 5.25 for 3 more years. Columbus doesn’t need depth centers, they need a top line center.

They have $7M in cap space, they won the division without Landy I’d 100% expect them to do it in FA not a trade because outside of ROR there aren’t any real options available to play C. So no they aren’t sending a 1st to BOS for Hall.
