Description
I seen a ACGM offering Grizz and Hall to the Pens for a 1st. Thought I would work from there.

If Korpisalo will sign that contract, the Kings will just re-sign him and keep their assets.

He's a free agent.... The Kings don't get to choose whether or not they will just re-sign him

So he's going to take a lowball offer from Boston just because? The Kings are prepared to pay more than that.

Pens decline. Want nothing to do with Hall and LHD really isn’t the biggest need.

You said if he's going to accept a $2mil offer in Boston, then the Kings will just re-sign him. Boston is a 10x better place to play than dog**** LA - so if he wants to be apart of a hockey culture, he'd come here.

The Kings have exclusive negotiation rights with him now. If all he's holding out for is $2M over 3 years, the Kings would have extended him already.

Both Gavrikov and Korpisalo have done nothing but praise their time in LA, saying that they and their families have been getting top class treatment from everyone and that it's a wonderful place to live and play.

The Kings are also trending up, while Boston is trending down. WIthout Bergeron, Boston is a bubble team at best.

Not really Boston is old and ready to re-tool, if not rebuild. LA has just finished rebuilding and is young and ready to compete.

Don’t sign Korpi or Mayfield. Durzi really sucks playing his offside. Bussi is ready for backup role and cheap. Korpi sucks anyway. When he’s on he’s great. When he’s not he’s terrible. And he’s not far more often. Use the $ to sign a decent 2nd pair LD man. Graves maybe.

Forbort isn’t getting a 3rd.

You're about 20% overvaluing your players in every trade. Forbort gets a late round pick, Reilly has to come with a pick to get rid of. The ghost of Hall and rental Gryz don't get you a mid 1st in a deep year.

I mean the Kings exclusive negotiating rights mean absolutely nothing since he's 100% going to test the open market. You can say that to make yourself feel better, but if Boston and LA both offer him the same number - he chooses Boston every day of the week.

No worries though, we have two goalies who are astronomically better, so you can keep your cheap change. Boston has no interest in Korpisalo.

You don't win Stanley cups by being nice.

You don't win Stanley Cups by being nice. You're a Sabres fan, so by that metric - you have to be one of the nicest guys in the league
