Poolman + Pearson to LTIR immediately frees up 5.75 million. 50 points for 5 mil is very fair, especially when you take into account is defensive play. He has always been an analytical darling and would literally be the Blackhawks' best player behind Connor Bedard. Once again another uneducated take. It’s true that the Nucks can get some relief through LTIR, but they still got some work to do to improve, don’t have much room to work with & have some guys who are good hockey players but are getting paid more than what they should. So are going to be at a disadvantage in negotiations with other teams. Time & reality will tell which of us saw the situation more accurately.

Just because they have low value, doesn’t make them cap dumps. I am fully expecting one of Garland or Boeser to be traded, but they definitely won’t have to pay to do so
