Wings decline obviously

Redwings pass, players age and contract do not fit the wings timeline, we don't take rust for free

I personally cannot see a 31 year old Rust being worth a 1st.

That is the most value that the Jets would get back in a PLD trade but they want young NHLers that are ready to go, so doubt they would accept multiple firsts if young players are available elsewhere

Value is there, but the pieces are wrong for WPG. POJ does nothing but add to the LD logjam and while Blomqvist is a good goalie prospect, I don't think WPG is looking for that in a PLD trade. Offer is probably beaten by a team offering better prospects or actual NHL players.

Not sure, but I think the Hawks decline. Taking on Granlund's two years to move up 5 spots is a lot, especially given how prospects in that pick range are so jumbled... I suspect the Hawks may look instead at Myers' cap dump as (part of) a way to move up from #19 to #11? And I suspect even that only happens if they deem someone at #11 they HAVE to have.

The first trade is bad for the Pens - you can just buy Granlund out. Wings obviously pass. Petry obviously blocks the ARI trade.
