Horrid trade for Devils. Two years of Marner and cap dump? Besides not having the cap, makes no sense for Devils . Keep Nemec and the Devils still have lots of cap for a UFA.
Horrid trade for Leafs to obtain Guentzel. Certainly don't want to sign a UFA takes into his late 30s. It's and awful trade anyway for the Leafs anyway.
Jarnkrok and Gio are great value for under 3m combined, no need to trade those guys.

No way, the Devils can afford Marner....,but even if they did, it's an awful trade for them. How how Guentzel helps win Cups? Check the Pens record in the past six years. Nylander for Guntezel is fair but not Liljegren. No GM would sign Guentzel to seven year extension.

Lol, I made a acgm where I sent Bratt, Stillman and a 2nd for Nylander. I thought was a fair deal. Of course it was not received well and was told not enough for Nylander and it doesn't make the Leafs any better. Apparently a older, smaller, more expensive option would be better.
