What quality of prospect are you talking?

If Nashville is making a Saros trade we've entered full rebuild mode. It'd take a 1st (ideally in this year) and some sort of decently young roster player. Can't imagine Trotz would part with this.

Is the gap between a 2.45 / 0.911 goalie and a 2.69 / 0.919 goalie that much? 2LW, 1st, 3rd, prospect?

Yes it really is. I think Juuse gets the Devils into serious cup contender talk. I love VV but if I were Fitz id take this deal in a heart beat. Also the Devils prospect pool is loaded so giving up a couple picks wont hurt when you have L Hughes, Nemec, Holtz, Casey and a bunch of other higher end talent waiting to make the team.

Dont really care for sharangovich personally so depending on the prospect it boils down to lesser replacement goalie that probably wants to be paid as much as saros + pick.

I personally see saros as our best trade chip to go for a young C or high end C prospect. So this isnt the tyoe of return id prefer.
