Détails additionnels:
Avs don't have a 2nd to OS Sharangovich. He likely doesn't fit the Devils long term plans though and so potentially there is a deal to be worked out for his RFA rights.

  1. Hayes, Kevin (3 000 000 $ retained)

Détails additionnels:
Not mine or a lot of Avs fans 1st choice at 2C. But with the Front Offices penchant to cycle back on players they like and all the rumors about the Avs being in on Hayes at the deadline and now heading into the summer, he makes sense with retention to fit in the Avs top 6.

Would 100% do that for Hayes, could probably retain 1-2% more if it really matters lol whatever gets up to that 50% retention mark

I think he makes a lot of sense if Philly retains 50%. And potentially send out a late pick elsewhere for another 25% retention to ensure the Avs can afford to keep Toews in the fold with Landy coming back in 24-25.

There will most certainly be better offers for Yegor than a 4th if the Devils are considering trading him.
He would be a good target for Colorado though.

Personally, I have no reason to believe Sharangovich is not in our plans. Took a bit of a lesser role in 2nd half of the season, but with Timo in, it got a bit crowded. He has $2.05m qualifying offer, plays wing and center, can put up 20g and plays solid defense. I think there is still upside left there too. So I think he comes back for at least one more year...then maybe reassess in summer of 2024 (his last RFA window).

No idea if he is/isn't part of the Devils plans. Have just seen a lot of ACGM's where his rights are traded or he is not tendered at all (which I think is unlikely). Devils have some decisions to make capwise on who to keep - probably more on the defensemen than anything. I wish the Avs still had a 2nd that they could either trade for his rights or OS him. In the event NJ sticks to the 2nd round OS asking price for his rights, there would be other options for a middle 6 wing at a similar cap hit that could work for the Avs. I like his fit if trade price makes sense though.

If we did move him, I imagine it would be for experienced player. There was big experience gap in Carolina series and it showed. Still a young team.

Not sure who that would be from Avs…but that is probably where we are buying. (Don’t really need picks)

Probably not a fit from the Avs side of things on experienced players. Avs are looking to improve around the 9 skaters currently under contract without trading from the NHL roster IMO. Only guys that may get moved are Toews/Girard, but neither is going anywhere for a package that doesn't include a bonafide 2C with term/team control.

Pretty good PKer too. With no Tatar I think there is room. And unless Foote has taken great strides I see him in b4 feet

What else does one take strides with? Their hands?

(I’ll see myself out)
