He was never worth a first that's the troll 😂

Oh he was. Monahan is great player. His injury was very unfortunate.

In your opinion, do you think hip flexor injuries are chronic and generally are reoccurring injuries? (You can use a google search to help you out if needed.)

I seriously don't know and honestly the only thing that I now care about is to see him play in regular season before we trade for him. Hope that trade doesn't occur during the summer and honestly I'm starting to wonder if we shouldn't wait until he becomes UFA on July 1st 2024.

    Thanks for the information.

If you're in a 'reset of the fly' instead of a complete rebuild you'd be better off getting a player like Josh Anderson who's signed for another 4 years and who's a playoffs beast. He was instrumental during our 2021 playoffs run.

Anderson is negative value to the jets. He has value but I want him nowhere near the jets

I’m glad we agree we shouldn’t trade him to Montreal and both hope he doesn’t end up there.

I expect his summer the Jets to offer him 8 by $9.5m and then let him talk to the Habs about what a long term contract from them looks like if he’s traded and he decides to stay.

If we decide to trade him Boston does have Lysell, Lohrei, Swayman and Carlo that could be the centrepiece of a trade and any one of them would far exceed Florida’s first in terms of a return.

Habs fans are just getting on my last nerve parroting the same nonsense trade that makes no sense for the Jets to accept when, even as a pure rental, a different team would offer more.

Boston and Colorado have the greatest need but I think Seattle could give the greatest return. Habs can go pound sand and then riot when he doesn’t end up there.

Also, maybe Habs draft a C at 5OA and have no need for PLD so he can stay here. That’s a good outcome for the Jets too.

He won’t sign with the jets. That have already been said. A lot of habs fan don’t want Dubois. We will be happy if he doesn’t sign here. Boston won’t trade Lysell or Swayman for Dubois, but I could see Lohrei and a first.

He may have gotten a 2nd a 1st was mtl fans assuming he had more interest than he did. Who in there right minds would pay a first especially if he didn't get injured just for a team to pay it and he get injured for the rest of season. His injuries tank any value there

His injury was a thing of the past in the first third of the season. There were question marks at the beginning of the season and that's why CGY paid us a 1st as he was then considered as a cap dumb to create room for Kadri. An experienced and productive center would have returned a 1st at the TDL. And then injuries came back haunting him.

The rumour here is that he will sign here as long as we trade Scheif. He has never said he wouldn’t sign here. All that has been said is he would like to sign in Montreal and that was by his agent.

    Nah we do 😁

    I think you’re being trolled.

The retention alone is worth a 2nd. PLD is worth a 23OA in a deep draft and the rest for sure. I’d make it a 1st no conditions change the 4th and 5th to a 3rd or possibly a 2nd. So roster player, prospect, 1st and 3rd. If needed I’d do the 2nd

He informed jets management that he will not resign in Winnipeg one year ago. So the chances he stays are minimal

Your sources and my sources have conflicting information. Mine is from inside the Jets org… allegedly as it is second hand information.

A Winnipeg reporter said : Pierre-Luc Dubois has told the jets he wants to test free agency. It was from June last year so maybe it is outdated.
