Mailloux Calgary first and kidney is fair

In this situation I would rather have Fla first, Kidney and Ylonen or Tuch

Sorry to burst your bubble but Dubois was not a playoffs beast a few weeks ago and wouldn't be a great target for a contender at the TDL

You might end up not getting a first for Dubois after all

Winnipeg is definitly going to get a first for Dubois. Only way they don't is if he gets OS

    Or maybe not

The guy has talent but what about his attitude? Drafted by CLB but there were issues in Columbus. Traded to WIN and issues again in Winnipeg. He was lazy during the playoffs. That raises yellow-ish / orange-ish / almost red-ish flags.

Again, sorry to burst your bubble but your asset has issues despite his talent and if the solution for him is to play for Montreal, you might not be a price maker in that trade.

Barclay declines, not sure if NYR has the cap space if Goodrow isn't dealt, don't see them having a need for Dubois either but stranger things have occurred I suppose.

His value decreased during the playoffs, unfortunately, and a TDL ransom is now out of the question should you decide to sign him for his last RFA year

Trade at the draft for a first minimum lol anything else? It's okay that you're wrong here but how hard is it to say he's worth a 1st

    I don't think he's worth a 1st -- maybe a late 1st or early 2nd. But not much more. He's too risky.

You do realize that he had a hip flexor injury that he soldiered through the second half of the season including the playoffs right? He didn’t practice or take option skates to manage the pain. You do realize this is the case and aren’t just shooting off at the mouth not having a clue about what reality is right? Like he had to get it numbed before each game.

Really hope he sign in Boston too. Don't need him in Mtl. Also love the Bruins and them having a center is a good thing. But they don't have assets except Lysell wich I wouldn't trade.

I’m glad we agree we shouldn’t trade him to Montreal and both hope he doesn’t end up there.

I expect his summer the Jets to offer him 8 by $9.5m and then let him talk to the Habs about what a long term contract from them looks like if he’s traded and he decides to stay.

If we decide to trade him Boston does have Lysell, Lohrei, Swayman and Carlo that could be the centrepiece of a trade and any one of them would far exceed Florida’s first in terms of a return.

Habs fans are just getting on my last nerve parroting the same nonsense trade that makes no sense for the Jets to accept when, even as a pure rental, a different team would offer more.

Boston and Colorado have the greatest need but I think Seattle could give the greatest return. Habs can go pound sand and then riot when he doesn’t end up there.

Also, maybe Habs draft a C at 5OA and have no need for PLD so he can stay here. That’s a good outcome for the Jets too.

The second Friedman broke the news in the cup final I knew I wasn't going to be happy as he's worth more than that to the team and without concerns. This doesn't mean we roll over and die taking a trash deal. He gets a 1st and that isn't even being unrealistic

If you're in a 'reset of the fly' instead of a complete rebuild you'd be better off getting a player like Josh Anderson who's signed for another 4 years and who's a playoffs beast. He was instrumental during our 2021 playoffs run.

In your opinion, do you think hip flexor injuries are chronic and generally are reoccurring injuries? (You can use a google search to help you out if needed.)
