Let's be real here, every team will be calling on the Leafs for Marner. The package will be massive, it will have to be a massive overpay to land this guy.

Marner had a 99 point season with two more years left on his contract and is only 25 years old. If the Habs can get a 13th overall pick by trading Romanov, the Marner package will be massive

GMs and fans see players differently (with some bias). Like it or not, agree with it or not, the team that is getting Marne will pay massively

Minnesota can't afford Marner.
They're in cap hell and are heading into the worst years of the Parise-Suter buyouts.
Minnesota center depth is not very good and they most certainly won't trade their no.1 C in Joel Eriksson Ek.
He's locked up for another 6 years on a great contract.

Without JEE, Sam Steel is MIN's #1C.....

@Babatunde your title should be unrealistic and unreasonable. You aren't getting Minnesota dynamic young Selke candidate player and shutdown C / two way C on 8 year contract and cheap for expensive winger whose not needed
