Nylander extends 9m x 8 years

Just playing around with what this could look like.

This would be best case scenario in these trades though. I can see Marner being a good upgrade over Bratt in NJD. Obviously there is a fit for Matthews in Arizona. But is it too soon for them? Do they trade Cooley and the 6th overall?

Just having some fun as to what best case scenario looks like for the Leafs, IF they do trade these guys.

I would be sad if we traded Matthews though. Marner would hurt as well but 11m for a winger is a tough pill to swallow as well.

This team would be seriously dangerous.

What are your thoughts? Who stays? Who goes?

I dont get these at all... Everyones calling for Trade Matthews. Trade Marner, Yes they again underacheived. however trading them while theyre still locked up for another season or two is rediculous. These are GENERATION talents this team has gone through countless horrible bottom feeding years to get and fans wanna off them for a player and some draft picks who may or may not pan out.
Its sad tbh. Nylander will be gone. You can all but bank on that. Nylander is as good as gone.

An interesting idea, but I don't see it for 2 years of Marner plus Bratt is only getting traded if he insists on like >8.5 long term. Devs take 8 x 7.75 in a heartbeat... plus the Canadian tax and the 2024 1st can't be traded since it's conditional from the Meier trade.
