No one is joining an NHL team right away outside Fantilli/Benson/Reinbacher. That isnt the point. Every pundit is saying that Will Smith is the dynamic player that the jackets seek instead of a floor guy like Carlsson but unlike Michkov. Smith is much closer to NHL ready with one more year of university.

Highly unlikely Im going off what the pundits are saying and what I've seen at past drafts, Pellikka is undersized and much like Lane Hutson these players dont go high in the draft unless they are very special like Quinn Hughes.
