Helly is great, but it’s not worth giving up a first and Koochie taking into account Helly’s age and what his next contract will look like. Rather have a 23 year old goalie who still has about 13 years of quality hockey to play, who is currently on a steal of a contract, than a 31 year old goalie who might only have 5 quality years left, and will likely be asking about 8-9mil.
