Josh Freaking Anderson is massively overpaid, he's basically a 20-30 point winger making $5,500,000 for the next 4 years or so. Jarmo Kekkalainen overpaid him based on one 47 point season. You'd have to pay us to take him off your hands not the other way around. Zadina and the 41st overall pick in a very deep draft is for Anderson.

Of 672 skaters who dressed for a team this season... Anderson was 110th in scoring which is another way of saying he would be the 4th best goal scorer on an average team and the 5th best goal scorer on an above average team.

Either way there is no way Yzerman is taking on that deal without a sweetener. Even then he probably does not take him on this roster.

Tbf 5,5 million is a lot to pay for a team's 5th best goal scorer.
