Both of those "cap dumps" would never happen. Carolina would match on Puljujarvi ... anyone would. Lafferty doesn't cost close to that much. Robertson isn't a great fit on the 4th line and that'll suck for his development. He's only 21. Give him time on the Marlies or put him in the middle six (preferably the former. He's been injured all year).

Knies is probably not ready for first line minutes. Easing him into the middle six first would be much wiser, rather than throwing him to the wolves.
