Description

To make room for EP40 extension and Podkolzin (bridge deal likely), Kravtsov can hopefully step into Brown's spot +Myers retention gone +cap going up. Worst case scenario, maybe OEL buyout becomes easier to digest or he gets dumped somewhere, give him a year to hopefully boost his negative value.

Only if they flip him immediately 50% retained for a better pick. Habs have a log jam at forward. And if they were to add Dubois, theyd have even less room for a guy who shouldnt be in a teams top 6

MTL would rather use a pick than a guy who they might not be able to flip for a better pick than a 3rd
MTL already have a log jam on the wings (Caufield,Anderson,RHP,Hoffman,Slafkovsky,Gallagher,Armia,Pezzetta,Ylonen,Pitlick,Farrell)
