VAN needs a 2C as well. Miller is by FAR better on the wing than he is as a C. Use that Barbashev money to sign a FA (Domi? Jost?) who can be that 2C for a few years until Raty or Dries show they can handle it. Also, could probably ship out Myers this off season to a team looking for the cap floor (Anaheim?).

He could work. Decent face-off numbers and size but maybe just a little bit too old for this group? PA looking for guys that are 25 or younger so Mcleod could be a bit better

As against that, he's a UFA this summer, so he wouldn't cost you anything. I don't think that age is as important in bottom-6 players.

Also, you're overpaying McLeod by 1m and if the Canucks are relying on him as their 3C they are pretty much doomed for next season.
