It is pretty clear that you are heavily biased towards the Canucks. I'd have Pettersson top 10 but number 4 is way too high. Demko at 5 I'd agree if he wasn't injuerd to start the year. He needs to have a big year next year for people to take him seriously again

Petey is a 40 goal, 100 point guy who's gonna finish as a Selke finalist, I'd take him over Mathews any day of the week

While yes I am I don't think it's a stretch to say Elias Pettersson is the 4th best center in the NHL, 100 point guy who's gonna be a perennial selke contender? I debated putting him ahead of Draisaitl. Demko has been amazing since the bubble except the beginning of this season where he was playing injured, I look at what players are like when they're at 100%

He plays both sides, usually more on the left, or at least that's what it was like in CGY

Saros is 6 imo and I decided to have Morrissey over Josi bcuz his all around game is better. If Josi put up 90 again this season he'd definitely be up there but he's been pretty bad this year.

If it's exclusive to this season, then it is extremely valid. In general, there are a couple questionable picks (Petey over Matthews?), but I could hear out an argument for most other picks

Marner is better than Kucherov since his production is slightly lower but he also kills penalties
Petterson is just better than Mathews, Mathews needs elite playmakers and doesn't make guys around him better
Kaprizov? That's debatable, he had a really good year last year but took a massive step back this season whereas Tkachuk is getting better every year.

Demko isn't a top 5 goalie. Saros, Oettinger, and Ullmark are all objectively better than him.

Petey makes everyone around him better, he is gonna be a perennial 100 point guy while also finishing as a Selke finalist. He's the most complete player in the NHL whereas Mathews is a goal scoring machine, but he needs to play with an elite playmaker like Marner to be effective.

I'd have Saros over Demko simply because of how good Saros has been this year. I'd say Demko is around 7-10. He has a chance to redeem himself next year

I'll hear an argument for Saros but not the other 2, Oettinger and Ulmark play on defensive juggernauts, his numbers are massively inflated bcuz of the players in front of him, Demko has been amazing playing on **** teams.

Ullmark is 3rd in the league in GSAx. Oettinger is 10th. Demko is 80th. This stat takes into account the quality of scoring chances given up by the team so don't give me that "team defense" bullsh*t.
